Liquor Cabinet
04:01
|
|
||
Well I propose we break into the liquor cabinet
see how it goes drink everything we find inside of it
and take a toast to what it means to have each other
and comatose on happiness forever
I don't want you to be scared
I just want to take good care
of my darling you my darling girl
Well I propose we break into your parents bedroom
see how it goes they're kinda tall there's plenty of headroom
and take a toast to what it means to have each other
and comatose on happiness forever
I dont want you to be scared
I just want to take good care
of my darling you my darling girl

Waking Up
03:41
|
|
||
Waking up without you's like a chore
since you left my days are such a bore
waking up beside you's meant so much more
since you left I've never felt so poor
I've never felt so poor
I've never felt so poor
Patient Patience
Going to sleep without you's like a test
I fall asleep but never get any rest
going to sleep beside you's more of a nest
since you left my life is such a mess
my life is such a mess
my life is such a mess
Patient Patience

Took Wrong Turn
02:57
|
|
||
Took wrong turn tried to backtrack
lost our ground and our backpack
with our map and our compass
wheres the path no one showed us
Showed us
Tides have turned tables tilted
on our way roses wilted
shadows formed awful symbols
poisoned us now we're crippled
Crippled

Worst Summer
03:15
|
|
||
I'm driving my girl down a one way street
in a two bit town on a three day trek
so it was Thursday lets call it Thursday
Its takin a toll every time we meet
a different local here its such buzz killed greet
yeah its the worst day
A buncha liars they were at travelocity
its mediocrity to travel this city the
the thrill is fading its really fading
and theres a garbage strike so it smells like pee
and if the sun comes out its just to cook the disease
but its still raining
so why's she complaining like its the worst summer
since we had the drought
Still raining so why's she complaining
you can dress her up but you can't take her out
And who invited this girl all she does is complain
you think she'd have a good time i think she must be insane
cause its vacation its a vacation
and im stuck with her for a couple more days
so i crank on the music to blind melons "no rain"
but its still raining
so why's she complaining like its the worst summer
since we had the drought
Still raining so why's she complaining
you can dress her up but you can't take her out
She said: "Take me out, dress me up, take me out,
take me out, take me out"
and theres a garbage strike so it smells like pee
and if the sun comes out its just to cook the disease
but its still raining
so why's she complaining like its the worst summer
since we had the drought
Still raining so why's she complaining
you can dress her up but you can't take her out
She said: "Take me out, dress me up, take me out,
take me out, take me out"

My Medicine
03:49
|
|
||
I forgot to take my medicine
listerine and methamphetamine
my caffeine my nicotine
my ginseng my aspirin
and ill soon explode
cause i cant support this load
Diagnosed with boredom and time
what a kick in the face
most days feel like an assembly line
trying to keep the pace of the chase
Like I forgot to take my medicine
listerine and methamphetamine
my caffeine my nicotine
my ginseng my aspirin
and ill soon explode
cause i cant support this load
Saw a ghost and thought it was mine
he was trying to retrace my steps
he was drinking a xanax with wine
just like me he looked so out of place
like I forgot to take my medicine
listerine and methamphetamine
my caffeine my nicotine
my ginseng my aspirin
and ill soon explode
cause i cant support this load

Half Way Home
04:21
|
|
||
Wake up sunshine light my pathway
it's been so dark stuck here halfway
Trying to gather something that mattered
tempting together changing chapter's a chore
All in time never mind
the past has been such a burden for you
and now it's time to break forward
Drink up moonshine blur my pathway
vision doubles drunk here halfway
Trying to gather something that mattered
tempting together changing chapter's a chore
All in time never mind
the past has been such a burden for you
and now it's time to break forward
Wake up sunshine light my pathway
it's been so dark stuck here halfway home
Halfway home

Forget Your Face
03:52
|
|
||
Well I could never forget your face
and i hope you're in a better place
well you're impossible to retrace
and I hope you're in a better place
But theres some things I forgot to ask
and now I fear ill never get the chance
If you could listen just hear me out
cause it would settle a lot of my doubt
Feelings awaken each time that I hear of your name
Shaking my head cause this person could not be the same
As you you
Well I could never forget your face
and i hope you're in a better place
well you're impossible to retrace
and I hope you're in a better place
Although the time that we shared was short
there ain't another soul whom I've adored
as much as you but since you've expired
I'm feeling dead and alone and so tired
Feelings awaken each time that I hear of your name
Shaking my head cause this person could not be the same
As you you

Lost In Heaven
02:59
|
|
||
Cut the chatter it doesn't matter
we'll write it down and get to it later
twenty seven lost in heaven but its
still not quite what I'm after
dreams still beckon me to second guess
my will to spot what still matters
Cue the laughter it doesn't matter
the moment's over forever after
twenty seven lost in heaven but it's
still not quite what I'm after
soaked in sunshine live the moment
cause you know soon enough it is over
twenty seven lost in heaven but it's
still not quite what I'm after
don't be Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Brian Jones
or the dude from Nirvana
twenty seven lost in heaven but it's
still not quite what I'm after
dreams still beckon me to second guess
my will to spot what still matters
What still matters

Wrecking Crew
02:07
|
|
||
I hope this is not the last song
that I get to write you before the love is all gone
Cause I still experience goosebumps and shivers
every time that I think I'm I'm gonna see you soon
Whatever happened needed to happen
but I'm still demolished and you're still the wrecking crew
And so it's over for now, it's always been up to you
it's now or never forever god only knows what you'll choose
and this could be the last song where I obsess on your thought
with a broken hopeful heart before the love is all gone

Times Trickling
04:40
|
|
||
Our dilemma is now and how
times trickling like we shouldn't allow
It slips through your hands grain of sand
what's holding us from taking command
and know you're never gonna stop it
and know you're never gonna turn it around
you can't stop this madness
and know you're never gonna change it
you're never gonna make it go away
you can't stop this madness
It's already begun rearm
take cover and sound the alarm
repel from the swarm avoid harm
lay low throughout the eye of the storm
and know you're never gonna stop it
and know you're never gonna turn it around
you can't stop this madness
and know you're never gonna change it
you're never gonna make it go away
you can't stop this madness
Our dilemma is now and how
times trickling like we shouldn't allow
It slips through your hands grain of sand
what's holding us from taking command
